Melanie Dawson: Shy or Showy?

Ain't she cute? I drew her the same time as my previous scrap. She was supposed to be a shy playboy bunny but then I felt that she wouldn't fit in like that. I then made her into an idealistic bunny who openly wishes to get married and have kids. This wish of hers began when she was only five years old.

I made a sort of project involving her and Lewis. They're the main characters within this story I made up at the top of my head (at 4 in the morning).

Since polar bears are the largest terrestial carnivores, Lewis Barker is often mistaken as a delinquent and he tries to hide his fearsome appearance from others by wearing a kitty hood. However, it typically fails.

Lewis' views are influenced by his surroundings from the media, at school and at home. He is extremely convinced that everything in this world is just some crazy conundrum that tests our potential. Love and feelings for another have no significance when you are trying to find a job. He even believes that having a relationship always causes many problems.

Here we meet our star Melanie Dawson.

One night while going out on a walk, he saves a black bunny from a gang from his school. She REALLY believes that he's a cat and quickly befriends him. Thinking that she's just another high school student, he brushes her off as if he never met her, fearing that she'll be afraid of him if he reveals his appearance.

However he meets her again working as a waitress. She happily greets him as "Mr. Kitty," and their friendship slowly blossoms from there. When he finally tells her that he's really a polar bear, that doesn't change her mind from being his companion; she gives away another secret: she's really twenty-two years old.

Dark secrets are revealed yet at the same time hidden. This is a story of two characters encountering the ups and downs of life one step at a time.

Oh, yeah, that gold earring on Melanie's left ear has a huge significance in the story too.
